Measurement cargo or bulky goods consignments that take up an unusually large amount of space or require special handling due to their external properties. Bulky goods include, for example, bicycles, rollers, sacks, wooden crates, "parcels" with protruding parts.

The main principle here is: Always pack your shipment in such a way that it is well protected from damage and does not pose a danger to persons or other shipments.

  • Pack your bulky goods in cardboard boxes and/or bubble wrap
  • Make sure that the goods are adequately padded
  • Protect sharp edges or corners so that your goods but also other shipments are not damaged and persons cannot be injured when handling your shipment

Attention

Shipping providers will reject the dispatch of unpacked shipments. If measurement cargo is insufficiently packed and protected, shippers will return them to the collection point after inspection at the hub. It is therefore essential that you send your shipment with sufficient packaging.
