Overview of the insurance conditions at JUMiNGO

Object of the insurance

The contract applies to all worldwide transports and related storage of goods of all kinds, unless these are specifically listed under "Non-Insurable Goods".

The goods are divided into the following groups of goods:

Group A (Commercial goods, new and packaged)

Commercial goods of all kinds; unless they are listed in the following groups B, C and D. Related goods shall be assigned accordingly to the goods listed in the following groups B, C and D. These goods can be insured without special request up to a maximum liability amount of EUR 20.000 per means of transport/transport-related temporary storage. Higher insurance amounts only upon request.

Group B (Special commercial goods)

Special commercial goods are insurable without special request up to a maximum insured sum of 20.000 EUR per means of transport or warehouse. For sums insured in excess of 20.000 EUR, premiums, conditions, security agreements and other risk conditions required by KRAVAG must be agreed with JUMiNGO and KRAVAG before the start of the risk.

Special commercial goods are: Alcoholic beverages (from 15%), medicines (medicine), computer components (electronic memory, data carriers and processors), real carpets, electronics, photo and film equipment, photovoltaic systems, glassware, ceramics, cosmetics, motor vehicles, laptops, aircraft/spaceships, machines with a high proportion of electronics, medical equipment, motorcycles, cell phones, new furniture, PC, smartphones, solar modules, spirits (duty paid),tobacco products, tablet PCs, temperature-controlled goods, consumer electronics including consumer electronics, etc. sound and music carriers, watercraft.

Goods C (particularly goods at risk):

For the following goods, contributions, conditions, security agreement and other risk conditions required by KRAVAG must be agreed with JUMiNGO and KRAVAG before the risk commences:

Alcohol (duty unpaid), plant construction, antiques, cotton (sea transport), damaged goods, chemicals (sea transport), personal effects, explosive goods, fibers, fresh fruit/vegetables, spices, nuclear fuel, art objects, bulk cargo in tankers and bulk carriers, Ammunition, nuts, plants (live), radioactive materials, raw coffee, raw cocoa, cut flowers, heavy goods (large/heavy cargo), spirits (duty unpaid), steel trade products (sea transport) animals (live), watches, removal goods, unpacked goods, weapons, sugar (sea transport).

The insurance cover is only valid after separate confirmation by JUMiNGO and KRAVAG. An automated order confirmation by JUMiNGO shall not be considered as insurance cover.

Goods D (non-insurable goods):

Costume jewelry, documents, drugs (according to the narcotics law), genuine pearls, precious metals, precious stones, objects made of precious metals and precious stones, money in coins and bills, jewels, cheques; credit cards, valid telephone cards, certificates, securities of all kinds, used goods.

An automated order confirmation by JUMiNGO shall not be considered as insurance cover.

Insurance cover

The goods insurance is always based on the KRAVAG Logistics Goods Insurance Conditions 2008.

Deductible

The insured persons carry a deductible of 50,00 EUR per shipment and case of damage. If a premium insurance has been booked, JUMiNGO will cover the incurred costs of the deductible in the amount of 50.00 EUR.

Regulations for the event of damage

All damages shall be reported to JUMiNGO GmbH in writing without delay, but at the latest after 7 calendar days, and the "Instructions for conduct in the event of damage" instructions specified in the contract shall be strictly followed.

If goods are lost, the insurer shall pay compensation as in the case of total loss. The goods shall be deemed lost if 60 days, or in the case of air transport 30 days, have elapsed from the date of their scheduled arrival and no notification of their whereabouts has been received by the policyholder or insured. If the message is disturbed in connection with war, warlike events, civil war or civil unrest, the period is extended according to the circumstances of the case, but to a maximum of six months.

In the case of expenses in foreign currency, the conversion into the policy currency is made at the exchange rate on the day of the loss.

The insurer waives any recourse against the policyholder and his employees. The insurer is, however, entitled to take recourse against any person who has caused the damage intentionally.
