HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SEND A PARCEL?
The cost of sending a parcel depends on several factors. Shipping companies like UPS, DHL Express, TNT, and FedEx offer national and international delivery services. Prices can vary significantly depending on the provider and the destination.
Other factors such as the weight and size of the parcel also affect the cost. Smaller and lighter parcels are generally less expensive, while additional fees may apply for bulky or heavy shipments.

How to correctly pack a parcel?
Poor packaging can cause delays or even lead to a delivery being rejected. Proper protection ensures your goods arrive intact at their final destination.
Use a sturdy cardboard box, sized appropriately for your shipment. Fill empty spaces with crumpled paper, packing peanuts, or bubble wrap. Make sure fragile items do not touch each other and are well cushioned against impacts. Seal the box securely with strong adhesive tape on all seams.
Despite careful packaging, damage can still occur. That’s why JUMiNGO offers transport insurance that covers the value of your shipment in case of damage.
What parcel dimensions are allowed?
Parcel dimensions are calculated based on volumetric weight, which is the sum of the largest length plus twice the width and twice the height. As a general rule, the maximum size is 300 cm, with a maximum weight of 31.5 kg.
Example of size calculation:
- A parcel measuring 60 x 60 x 60 cm → total size: 300 cm
- A parcel measuring 100 x 50 x 50 cm → total size: 300 cm
Some carriers allow larger and heavier parcels under special services - for example, express shipping to the USA, with limits up to 400 cm in size and 70 kg in weight.
If your shipment exceeds these limits, it must be sent as oversized freight or on a pallet.
Drop-off point or home pickup?
You have two convenient options for sending your parcel:
- Drop-off at a parcel shop: Use our carrier location tool to find the nearest drop-off point in your area.
- Home pickup: A courier picks up your parcel directly from your home. Some services even include label printing by the driver.
