The WooCommerce integration into the JUMiNGO customer account requires no major technical understanding and is ready to use in just a few clicks. So that you can immediately benefit from the connection, we have created a quick guide for you:
In your JUMiNGO customer account you will find a navigation bar on the left. Click on "E-Commerce" under the point "Shipping Tools". With the option "Connect New System", you can directly connect your WooCommerce shop.
Alternatively, on the overview page of the customer account next to your orders and shipments, you will also find the point "E-Commerce Systems", among others. From there you can also access the WooCommerce connection.
On the next page you have the option to configure the connection according to your wishes. You have the following selection options:
Give the connection any name of your choice.
Choose between manual and automatic synchronization. Update orders manually as needed or have them automatically synchronized at two-hour intervals.
Selection of orders to be imported during initial synchronization. Specify how many orders from the previous days you want to import. You can specify up to a maximum of 60 days.
For "Shop URL" please enter the domain of your website (e.g. my-shop.de or shop.ecommerce.online) without additions like "https://www." or "www.".
Now click on "Connect an E-Commerce System". You will then be redirected to the WooCommerce login page. Log in with your WordPress admin username and password. Click on "Approve" to grant JUMiNGO access to the WooCommerce order data.
After successful authorization you will be redirected back to your JUMINGO customer account. The new WooCommerce connection will now be displayed there in the list of connected e-commerce systems. In addition, you can now import shipment and address data of recipients.
This completes the integration of your WooCommerce shop into the JUMiNGO customer account and you can directly benefit from shipping advantages.
As soon as you have created a JUMiNGO shipping label for your WooCommerce order, the shipment data (carrier name, tracking number and a link to shipment tracking) is automatically sent back to your WooCommerce shop. The information is stored in the order metadata and can thus be used for various other purposes in WooCommerce. For example, you can insert the tracking link into the email templates of your mailing plugin and thus always provide your customers with current shipment tracking.
The information is stored in the order metadata with the following names:
jumingo_tracking_carrier: The name of the shipping service provider is stored here.jumingo_tracking_number: The tracking number of your booked shipment is stored under this.jumingo_tracking_link: The complete link to the JUMiNGO shipment tracking of your shipment.Our team is working hard to make the WooCommerce integration even more powerful and reliable. A new feature that you can benefit from in the near future is webhook connection. With this, both new orders can be imported immediately, and changes to existing orders can be captured directly when they arrive in the WooCommerce shop. This way, JUMiNGO shipment drafts are also updated accordingly. Drafts can also be automatically deleted if they have been shipped elsewhere.
Do you have your own (ERP) system? With the JUMiNGO Customer API you have the option to connect your in-house system with your JUMiNGO customer account. This way you too can benefit from the advantages of our online shop integrations. Our interface is free, maximally flexible and easy to connect by your developers.
